The police arrested two men for possession of suspected stolen property in Memorial Road, Kimberley.
THE POLICE arrested two men, aged 34 and 36, for possession of suspected stolen property in Memorial Road, Kimberley, earlier this week.
The arrest came about after two police officers on duty spotted the two suspects and decided to stop and search them.
Police spokesperson Sergeant Dikeledi Gopane, said the suspects were found in possession of a large bag containing multiple rolls of electrical wires valued at R4,500.
“Both suspects were arrested and detained for possession of suspected stolen property and will soon appear in the Kimberley Magistrate’s Court,” said Gopane.
