The rainy weather, accompanied by cooler temperatures, has been forecast until Friday in Kimberley

WHILE more rain has been forecast for the Northern Cape for the next few days, good rains have already fallen in parts of the Province.

Yesterday, the South African Weather Office issued a watch alert for severe thunderstorms over the south-eastern parts of the Northern Cape.

The rainy weather, accompanied by cooler temperatures, has been forecast until Friday in Kimberley.

According to figures supplied by the Weather Office, the city had 13mm of rain on Monday night. Rain was also recorded in Kathu, where 52mm was measured, Kuruman (50mm), Noupoort (3mm), Orania (11mm), Postmasburg (15mm), Prieska (1mm), Upington (1mm), Vaalharts (25mm) and Van Zylsrus (6mm).
