SEVEN wanted suspects are expected to appear in court soon following their arrests in the Roodepan area on Wednesday.
Police spokesperson Lieutenant-Colonel Sergio Kock said two women and five men were arrested on charges ranging from robbery, contravention of a court order, malicious damage to property and assault with intent to cause bodily harm.
Kock said the Roodepan detectives embarked on a suspect-tracing operation during the early hours of Wednesday, where the suspects were arrested at their homes in Roodepan and surrounding areas.
The Roodepan SAPS station commander, Colonel Pieter Jansen, commended Lieutenant-Colonel Christopher Mashodi and his team of Roodepan detectives for bringing wanted suspects to book.
