THE NORTHERN Cape police have launched a search and rescue operation after two teenagers from Prieska went missing after they were apparently playing near the Orange River.
Police spokesperson, Lieutenant Colonel Dimakatso Mooi, said the teenagers were last seen on Sunday, January 31, 2021.
“The 15-year-old boy was last seen wearing a black vest with blue denim trousers and the 16-year-old girl was wearing a maroon top with blue denim trousers. Anyone who may have seen the teenagers is requested to contact the 10111 centre or their nearest police station,” said Mooi.
