Salvation Army hands over toys and food

The Salvation Army handed over toys at Robert Mangaliso Sobukwe Hospital and food hampers at Seochwareng old age home on Human Rights Day.

THE SALVATION Army handed over toys at Robert Mangaliso Sobukwe Hospital and food hampers at Seochwareng old age home on Human Rights Day.

Benton Sithebe said the Salvation Army’s international “reignite programme” was led by the men’s fellowship of the Salvation Army Galeshewe corps to pray for the lost, help the needy and restore hope in the lives of the less fortunate.

He added that they also cleaned rooms at Seochwareng old age home and handed out food and hampers with cleaning materials.

“We also fed the street children as part of the programme.”
