Roodepan police arrest 13 wanted suspects

A team of Roodepan police station detectives led by Lieutenant Colonel Christopher Mashodi embarked on a wanted suspect’s tracing operation as part of Operation Shanela actions on July 6.

THIRTEEN wanted suspects who have been on the run from the police for various crimes ranging from warrant of arrests, robbery, assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm, dealing in drugs, malicious damage to property, housebreaking and theft, theft out of motor vehicle and theft, were arrested by the Roodepan police on July 6.

A team of Roodepan police station detectives led by Lieutenant Colonel Christopher Mashodi embarked on a wanted suspect’s tracing operation as part of Operation Shanela actions on July 6.

Police spokesperson Sergeant Molefi Shemane said the arrests formed part of Operation Shanela.

“The suspects will appear in the Kimberley and Galeshewe Magistrate’s court soon,” he added.
