Roodepan detectives trace and arrest 23 wanted suspects

A team of Roodepan police station detectives traced and arrested 23 wanted suspects who have been on the run from the police for a range of offences, including murder, attempted murder, assault GBH, theft, housebreaking and dealing in drugs.

A TEAM of Roodepan police station detectives, under the leadership of Captain Deon Rheeder, initiated an operation to trace wanted suspects on April 18.

Twenty-three suspects, who have been on the run from the police for a range of offences, including murder, attempted murder, assault GBH, theft, housebreaking, malicious damage to property, dealing in drugs and contravention of protection orders, were arrested.

The diligent efforts of the detectives led to the apprehension of all suspects at their respective residences in Roodepan.

These fugitives, who have been avoiding court appearances and violating court orders, will soon face justice in the Kimberley Magistrate’s Court.
