Dr Ilunga Kalasa was denied bail in the Kimberley Magistrate’s Court on Monday.
DOCTOR Ilunga Kalasa was denied bail in the Kimberley Magistrate’s Court on Monday.
Kalasa has been charged with the rape of a 17-year-old patient as well as the sexual assault of a 25-year-old patient.
The charges have been combined.
State advocate Kekeletso Lekota requested for the matter to be postponed for the adding of further charges and further instructions from the Directorate of Public Prosecutions.
She added that they were also waiting for DNA results.
Magistrate Natasha Bedford postponed the matter until September 26.
Kalasa will remain in custody.
