IN A BID to woo voters ahead of the local government elections, ANC president Cyril Ramaphosa will visit Kimberley on Monday, October 11 to lead the party’s campaign trail in the Northern Cape.

Ramaphosa will be accompanied by ANC provincial chairperson Dr Zamani Saul, ANC provincial secretary Deshi Ngxanga and members of the national and provincial executive committee.

The president will visit areas in the Sol Plaatje municipal district.

Ngxanga added that the party’s election campaign would take place across the Province and was aimed at encouraging community members to vote for the ANC on November 1.

He said Ramaphosa would conduct door-to-door visits in ward 22 and host a community meeting at the open space next to the shops in Greenpoint.

“Door-to-doors will also be held in ward 3, followed by a community meeting at the soccer grounds in Homelite,” added Ngxanga.

“The president will visit ward 8, Kagisho, John Daka and Donkerhoek and will hold a community meeting at the Donkerhoek sports ground.”
