The Protea Women continue to gain momentum after thrashing Bangladesh by 9 wickets.
The Proteas Women thrashed their Bangladeshi counterparts by 9 wickets to take an unassailable lead in the five match ODI series.
After winning the toss, the Protea Women opted to field first and bundled the Bangladesh Women out for just 71 after 36.5 overs.
Fighting hard, Bangladesh’s Nigar Sultana scored 33.
All the Protea Women’s bowlers chipped in. However, Ayabonga Khaka with 3/16 and Marizanne Kapp 2/14 really climbed in.
The Protea ladies knocked off the required 72 runs in only 14.2 over, losing just one wicket. The top scorer for the hosts was Liezelle Lee on 44 not out.
The fourth ODI takes place on Friday at the Diamond Oval starting at 9.45am. Entrance is free.
