NORTHERN Cape Premier Dr Zamani Saul will meet with the Provincial House of Traditional and Khoi-San Leaders in Kuruman for a capacity-building seminar at the Leisure Inn from April 4 to 5.

The spokesperson for the Office of the Premier, Bronwyn Thomas-Abrahams, said Saul would meet with traditional leaders to seek resolutions to the challenges confronting traditional councils.

“The seminar further intends to build capacity for traditional councils and find ways to bridge the gap between communities, government, broader civil society and the private sector as well as accelerate service delivery in traditional communities,” said Thomas-Abrahams.

She added that members of the executive council, district mayors, Speakers, chief whips and municipal managers from the three local municipalities, as well as senior officials from national and provincial government, would also attend the event.
