NORTHERN Cape Premier Dr Zamani Saul and members of the executive council (MECs) will hold an outreach programme at the Moses Links community hall in Louisvaleweg in Upington on Wednesday, from 8am to 8pm, to address service delivery challenges and inform the community about development plans in the Dawid Kruiper municipal district.

The premier’s spokesperson, Bronwyn Thomas-Abrahams, said that the district development model was a collaboration of social partnerships, all sectors of society and communities that would address service delivery blockages.

“During the outreach, community members will be able to engage on an individual basis with MECs in an effort to unblock service delivery challenges. The executive council outreach programme will be scheduled to take place on a monthly basis and will be rotated across all districts of the Province,” said Thomas-Abrahams.

“Community members will also be able to access government services, such as the Department of Home Affairs, Sassa, Social Development and Labour, as well as the local municipality, during the programme.”
