The Postmasburg police are investigating a case of murder after a 28-year-old woman was brutally stabbed to death, allegedly by her 40-year-old boyfriend.
THE POSTMASBURG police are investigating a case of murder after a 28-year-old woman was brutally stabbed, allegedly by her 40-year-old boyfriend, outside Kenosi Tavern.
Police spokesperson Warrant Officer Nomvuyo Makoloi said the woman succumbed to her injuries at the Postmasburg hospital after being stabbed during the early hours of Sunday.
“The suspect was immediately arrested on the scene and will be appearing in the Postmasburg Magistrate’s Court soon,” said Makoloi.
The police have urged any person who can assist with the investigation to contact the investigating officer, Sergeant Tshonto Kgomonyane, on 08600 10111.
