TWO 24-year-old men are facing charges of drug dealing after the Springbok police found mandrax, tik and dagga with an estimated street value of R113,000 in their possession.

According to Northern Cape police spokesperson Lieutenant-Colonel Sergio Kock the two suspects were arrested after the police followed up on information regarding suspected drug dealings in 7de Laan.

“On June 22, 2024, at about 2.15pm, SAPS members from the Springbok Public Order Police and Visible Policing units followed up on information and searched a premise in 7de Laan in Carolusberg, Springbok, where they confiscated dagga, mandrax and tik. The police also confiscated an undisclosed amount of cash, alleged to be the proceeds of drug sales,” said Kock.
