THE KIMBERLEY police are investigating a house robbery case following the forced entry at a house in Monument Heights, where the owner was robbed of two firearms, ammunition, jewellery and an undisclosed amount of cash on Saturday.

The incident happened during the early hours of the morning.

Police spokesperson Captain Tessa Jansen said preliminary investigations indicate that four suspects gained access to the house while the occupants were sleeping.

“They instructed them at gunpoint to open the safes and robbed them of their valuables, which included two firearms, ammunition, jewellery and an undisclosed amount of cash,” said Jansen.

She added that the police conducted searches in the vicinity and have requested the public to assist with information that can lead to the apprehension and arrest of the suspects.
