THE EDUCATE a Boy Child non-profit organisation, in collaboration with Daughters and Mothers Diary, is set to host an impactful Outreach Programme at Flamingo Primary School in Kimberley on Saturday.

The primary objective of this programme is to foster holistic development among young people, focusing on both boys and girls. By engaging university and college students, school learners and children aged seven and above, the initiative aims to address critical challenges faced by the community such as bullying in schools, substance abuse and gangsterism.

The engagement between university and college students and the school children holds immense potential. It could lead to the identification of tutors who can support and guide these young learners in their academic journeys.

In addition to school-based activities, the programme will also extend its reach to street kids in Kimberley.

A member of the organising team, Fikile Mocwana, emphasised the importance of community support. Educate a Boy Child remains open to donors and assistance, recognising that collective efforts are essential for effective education and community development.

This Saturday’s Outreach Programme promises to be a transformative event, bringing together diverse voices and inspiring positive change in Kimberley’s youth.
