One person died and two others were injured in two accidents that happened on the same spot on the road between Danielskuil and Kuruman on Sunday.
THE DANIELSKUIL police are investigating cases of culpable homicide and reckless and negligent driving after one person died and two others were injured in two accidents that happened on the same spot on the road between Danielskuil and Kuruman on Sunday.
Police spokesperson Lieutenant-Colonel Sergio Kock explained that the incident involved two trucks and that a male passenger was killed, while the drivers of both trucks were injured.
“The first accident happened at about 8pm when a manganese truck apparently hit a kudu and overturned in the road. Another truck later collided with the overturned truck,” said Kock.
“The adult male passenger in the second truck died on the scene while both truck drivers were transported to hospital for medical treatment.”
