Northern Cape provincial commissioner Lieutenant-General Koliswa Otola handed over 23 new police vehicles to station commanders across the Province to help improve service delivery.
THE PROVINCIAL commissioner of the Northern Cape, Lieutenant-General Koliswa Otola, handed over 23 new police vehicles to station commanders across the Province to help improve service delivery.
Otola was accompanied by the deputy provincial commissioner for policing, Major-General Luntu Ngubelanga, during the handover ceremony of the Toyota Hilux bakkies.
Otola stressed that the vehicles should be used optimally and professionally to maximise and improve service delivery to communities and to bolster the capabilities of the police force.
Otola further promised that the bakkies will be out on the streets during festive season operations to ensure that there are more boots on the ground to fight crime effectively and efficiently.
