ANC MEMBER Venus Blennies was sworn in as a member of the Northern Cape Provincial Legislature (MPL) on Monday following the resignation of ANC MPL Lesole Dichaba.
The spokesperson for the Office of the Speaker, Mpho Masina, said a vacancy became available on the list of the ANC in the provincial legislature.
Speaker Newrene Klaaste wished Dichaba well in his future endeavours and congratulated Blennies on her new position as a member of the provincial legislature.
