YOUTHS in Pampierstad will hold a march to raise awareness over drug abuse and criminal activity.

Open wounds and marks suggested that their bodies had been dragged behind a moving vehicle.
The couple’s 19 year-old-son, Tebogo Segae, who was arrested on charges of murder, was denied bail in the Pampierstad Magistrate’s Court, where he conducted his own defence, during his bail hearing last week.
The case will resume on October 20.
The convener of the Youths Must Rise campaign, Michael Setlhogomi, believed that drug and substance abuse was closely linked to increasing criminal activity.
“Youths have decided to combat crime and fulfil social responsibility. We will meet at the Pampierstad bridge at 9am on Friday (today) and proceed to the Pampierstad police station to hand over a memorandum to the station commander. We are concerned about the drugs in our society as well as the lack of police visibility in our area. We also want the municipality to speed up the installation of high-mast lights.”
He added that the march was also in support of the families of the victims.
