THE NORTHERN Cape Department of Health has requested the family of Vinolia Setlegelo, who was admitted to Robert Mangaliso Sobukwe Hospital in Kimberley, to contact the social workers at the facility.

Department spokesperson Lulu Mxekezo said the patient was admitted on August 30 and attempts to find her family thus far have been unsuccessful.

“The patient is in a critical condition. The patient did not provide contact details of her next of kin at the time of admission. Social workers have tried to locate the patient’s family at the residential address in her file, which was Melesi Street 3 in Vergenoeg in Kimberley. However, according to the people staying at the residential address, they do not know the patient,” said Mxekezo.

“Anyone who knows patient Setlegelo can contact Miss Van der Berg at the Social Workers unit at RMSH on 053 802 2704 or 053 802 2703 as soon as possible,” she added.
