KURUMAN – A 21-year-old man is facing a charge of house robbery after he and three accomplices allegedly tried to break into the home of two farm workers at Beginsel Farm just outside of Kuruman.

Northern Cape police spokesperson Warrant Officer Letspa said the incident occurred on Wednesday, April 13.

“It is alleged that a couple, who are employed at the farm, were sleeping when they heard their door being forced open. Four suspects entered the house and a struggle ensued between the couple and suspects. One of the suspects was stabbed in the leg during the altercation and the other three suspects fled the scene. The injured suspect was arrested and taken to a local hospital for medical treatment,” said Letspa.
