The police have confirmed that a missing 13-year-old Kimberley girl, Nadine van Wyk, was found unharmed on Sunday.

THE POLICE have confirmed that a missing 13-year-old Kimberley girl, Nadine van Wyk, was found unharmed on Sunday.

Police spokesperson Sergeant Timothy Sam said on Monday that social workers are currently conducting assessments after Nadine was found.

“The station commander of Galeshewe, Brigadier Belinda Rikhotso, extended her appreciation to the public for their support and assistance in locating Nadine,” said Sam.

Rikhotso also commended the Galeshewe Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences unit, under the command of Lieutenant-Colonel Marli Strydom, for their “unabated efforts and meticulous handling of the investigation”.
