Minister and NC premier to hand over Lerato Park rental units, title deeds

The minister of Human Settlements, together with the deputy minister and the premier of the Northern Cape, will on Monday officially hand over the Lerato Park Integrated Housing Development Project to 150 allocated beneficiaries.

A TOTAL of 150 beneficiaries will officially receive their rental units when the Minister of Human Settlements, Mmamoloko Kubayi, the Deputy Minister, Pam Tshwete, and the Northern Cape Premier, Dr Zamani Saul, hand over the Lerato Park Integrated Housing Development Project on Monday.

The project will deliver a total of 458 community residential units (CRUs).

Kubayi will also hand over about 100 title deeds in Lerato Park and the event will culminate in the opening of a temporary clinic to serve the local community.

The delegation will be joined by the Northern Cape MEC for Cooperative Governance, Human Settlements and Traditional Affairs (Coghsta), Bentley Vass, the MEC for Health, Maruping Lekwene, and the Sol Plaatje Municipality executive mayor, Patrick Mabilo, as well as other provincial leadership.
