MEDICLINIC in Kimberley said that its vaccination process will start on Monday next week, May 24.

Mediclinic spokesperson in Kimberley, Denise Coetzee said all systems are in place. “The planning for the vaccination is going well. Our medical team will be ready on Monday to administer the vaccine to patients. We will start on May 24 and the venue and staff are ready.”

Coetzee urged residents to register in order to receive the vaccine. “They will after registration receive an SMS indicating what time and day they can be vaccinated.”

The Department of Health on Monday began rolling out phase 2 of its vaccination programme, which is aimed at persons aged 60 and older.
