Man’s body found on side of road

The Roodepan police have opened an inquest docket after the body of an unidentified man was found lying on the side of a road.

THE ROODEPAN police have opened an inquest docket into the death of an unidentified man who was found lying on the side of a road on January 29.

Police spokesperson Sergeant Timothy Sam said the deceased was found in Barkly Road. He was wearing a black Adidas top, grey/charcoal pants, a brown Hemisphere belt, blue overall pants and black ankle boots with laces.

“The unknown male person was declared deceased on the scene by the Kimberley Emergency Services,” said Sam.

“The police do not have any information regarding his identity and therefore request the assistance of the public in identifying the deceased.”

“All information will be treated confidentially,” Sam added.
