The Kimberley police have requested the public’s assistance in identifying the body of a man who was found hanging from a tree in Barkly Road in Bloemanda.

THE KIMBERLEY police have requested the public’s assistance in identifying the body of a man who was found hanging from a tree in Barkly Road in Bloemanda on November 27.

Police spokesperson Sergeant Timothy Sam said a post-mortem will be conducted to determine the cause of death and whether any foul play was involved in the matter.

“The deceased was wearing a blue and grey coloured overall, with dark spectacles. The police do not have any information about the identity of the deceased and anyone with information is urged to visit the Kimberley police or to contact Detective Sergeant Isaac Motlabi on 082 469 0546 or 08600 10111 or via the MySAPS app. All information will be treated confidentially,” said Sam.
