THE KIMBERLEY SAPS Serious and Violent Crimes unit is searching for four men who robbed a family at gunpoint in West End, Kimberley, on Sunday.
SAPS spokesperson Lieutenant-Colonel Sergio Kock said the incident took place on September 15, at around 4am, when the suspects entered the house and found a 53-year-old man, his 51-year-old wife and their 14-year-old son asleep in a bedroom.
“The unknown suspects, who spoke English, and two of whom were wearing balaclavas, apparently threatened the victims with a firearm and tied them up in the bedroom. They subsequently fled the scene with several items belonging to the victims,” said Kock.
Anyone with information is requested to contact Detective Warrant Officer Thabang Kamolane on 082 302 0407 or to make use of the MySAPS app.
