THE NORTHERN Cape Provincial Legislature will conduct oversight visits in the ZF Mgcawu district from June 13-24.
The Speaker of the Northern Cape Legislature Newrene Klaaste, said she would table the 2022/’23 budget vote at a house sitting in Kakamas on June 15 at 10.30am.
“The Legislature aims to bring the institution closer to its people, particularly because most engagements have been on a virtual platform since the period of the Covid-19 pandemic.
“The Northern Cape Provincial Legislature hosts a house sitting in each region in the Province once per quarter; and thus, all budget speeches of the various government departments including that of the legislature will be held outside the precinct, in different towns in the Province.”
