Missing: Piet Olivier.

THE VISAGIE family in Greenpoint is searching for an elderly man Piet Olivier (77), who they last saw on Thursday, 21 May 2022.

The family suspects that Olivier might have suffered from amnesia while he was on the streets.

The family reported him missing at the Kimberley police station on 22 May after reports that he was last seen walking down Mauritzfontein road.

Olivier is described as a friendly, outspoken, church loving person who loves visiting around.

He doesn’t drink any alcohol, and is on cancer treatment.

The family said he did not display any signs of confusion when they last saw him.

The family said a community search party was formed with the assistance from a church after he was reportedly spotted in the veld near Mauritzfontein.
