Dr Tumi, a medical doctor, changes lives by ministering healing, inspiration, hope, new meaning, revival and experience of God

GOSPEL sensation Dr Tumi, together with gospel newcomer Lebo Sekgobela, will be coming to the Diamond City on March 30 for the All White Gospel Show at the Mittah Seperepere Convention Centre.

Dr Tumi, a medical doctor, changes lives by ministering healing, inspiration, hope, new meaning, revival and experience of God.

The gospel star recently filled the Coca-Cola Dome with more than 20 000 gospel worshippers and is fast becoming a sought-after songwriter for contemporary gospel.

He has written songs for a number of gospel artists in South Africa and is the recipient of 13 prestigious music awards, including Crown Gospel Awards and Metro FM Music Awards, and was a SA Music Awards nominee with his two albums “Love and Grace” and “Heart of a King”.

“Fans and supporters can expect an intimate and memorable experience, they will surely be renewed by the word of God, just in time for Easter,” Dr Tumi said, promising concert goers a “good time in the presence of the Lord”.

Crown Gospel Music Awards recipient, Metro FM Awards and SA Music Awards nominee Lebo Sekgobela is also expected to bring the venue to a standstill with hits such as “Lion of Judah” and “Theko ya Lona”.

The vocal powerhouse, before her rise to stardom, had to remind herself of her talent after being told she couldn’t sing at numerous auditions such as Coca-Cola Pop Stars and Joyous Celebration.

Today she is a force to be reckoned with.

Friday’s All White Gospel Show will also give local supporting acts, including Spiritual Sweet Inspiration, Michelle Nxumalo and Manifest Presence, an opportunity to showcase their talent.

Local artist Michelle Nxumalo said: “I feel great, this is a big opportunity to present myself to the Kimberley crowd … this show will afford me an opportunity to prove what I am capable of as an up-and-coming gospel star”.

Tickets are already on sale at Computicket and doors will be open from 6pm for the start of the show at 7pm. For more information contact Kgomotso Modiragale on 083 704 3020.
