This is the third successive year that the event is being presented by the school
KIMBERLEY Girls’ High School will be hosting the very successful Festival of Voices in the Kimberley Theatre tomorrow and on Friday.
This is the third successive year that the event is being presented by the school.
The Festival of Voices provides a platform for local choirs from local primary and high schools to showcase the tremendous vocal talent that exists in Kimberley.
The event has also grown to include guest artists.
Tomorrow’s line-up will feature local choirs as well as Kimberley singing sensation Samantha Leonard, who came second in The Voice last year.
The very successful all-girls a cappella group, Con Spirito, from Oranje Meisieskool, will also be performing tomorrow night.
On Friday, in addition to local choirs, the Sentraal Orchestral Ensemble will also be performing.
Take Note, an a cappella group established as a platform for young men who have a passion for a cappella music, will also take to the stage on Friday.
The Festival of Voices starts at 7pm on both nights. Tickets will be available at the door of the theatre from 5pm or from Kimberley Girls’ High School at a cost of R60 for adults and R40 for pupils.
