The Kimberley police are investigating a murder case after a girl allegedly fatally stabbed her father in Greenpoint.
THE KIMBERLEY police are investigating a murder case after a girl allegedly fatally stabbed her father in Greenpoint.
Police spokesperson Sergeant Dimakatso Gopane said that there was apparently an argument between the girl and her father prior to the alleged incident on Thursday, May 11.
The girl has been in police custody following her arrest.
“It is alleged that the minor stabbed her 45-year-old father with a knife after an argument that broke out between them,” said Gopane.
The girl is expected to appear in the Kimberley Magistrate’s Court on Monday.
Police investigations are continuing.
