Galeshewe police seek missing 13-year-old girl

The Galeshewe police have requested the public’s assistance in locating a 13-year-old girl who went missing on January 6.

THE GALESHEWE police are seeking assistance from the public in tracing 13-year-old Alicia Maritz who went missing on January 6.

Police spokesperson Lieutenant-Colonel Sergio Kock said that Alicia was last seen leaving her home and she never returned.

“Alicia resides at 194 Tshwene Street, Bloemanda in Galeshewe. On Saturday, January 6, 2024, she went out at approximately 4.40pm and never returned home. She was last seen wearing a red shirt, blue jeans and black sneakers. She is of medium build with black hair. Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Alicia can contact Detective Warrant Officer Tanya Serfontein on 082 495 4605 or 053 807 6161,” said Kock.

He also reminded the public that there is no waiting period to report someone missing.
