Fans are urged to book their seats sooner rather than later as Kau’s shows are renowned for selling out fast
AWARD-winning comedian David Kau will be delivering a stand-up show in Kimberley this weekend.
Residents have been invited to “shake the back-to-work blues” and experience the “lighter side of the season” as Kau delivers one of his outrageously funny stand-up shows at the Flamingo Casino tomorrow.
Fans are urged to book their seats sooner rather than later as Kau’s shows are renowned for selling out fast. Tickets can be purchased at the casino at R80 each.
Described as “the funniest thing to come out of Kroonstad”, the legendary Kau first burst onto the local comedy scene in 1998 when he became the first black comedian ever to perform at the Smirnoff Comedy Festival in Cape Town.
Since then he’s earned a solid following of fans and racked up numerous plaudits for his effervescent wit and incisive social commentary.
Always current, seriously sharp and never shy, Kau has toured across the continent, starred on both big and small screens and kick-started the massively-successful, annual Blacks Only Comedy Festival.
His witty, honest and unapologetically-funny outlook on everything South African continues to earn him a strong following.
The show will take place at Flamingo Casino’s Bar 129 tomorrow.
