FOUR Sol Plaatje municipal officials employed in the sanitation section were injured in an accident that occurred 10 kilometres outside of Kimberley on the Hopetown road on Saturday.
Sol Plaatje Municipality spokesperson Thoko Riet said the staff members were travelling to Kimberley from Ritchie as they had been working on a pipeline on Saturday morning.
“They were injured and were rushed to a local hospital. The extent of their injuries have yet to be confirmed,” Riet said.
