A 43-YEAR-old father who allegedly sexually abused his 14 year old daughter will apply for a formal bail application in the Galeshewe district court next week.
National prosecuting authority regional spokesperson Mojalefa Senokoatsane on Friday stated that on the day of the incident the accused entered the children’s bedroom.
“The father shares a home with his wife and children. He allegedly woke his 14 year old daughter before he touched her private parts in an indecent manner. The victim then called her younger sibling to alert their mother.
“The mother found her husband half-naked inside the children’s room.”
He added that the accused was arrested after the police were alerted.
“The case has been postponed until December 17 for a formal bail application. The accused was remanded in custody as the police continue with the investigations.”
