THE FAMILY of a missing 16-year-old Club 2000 teenager, Tshepang Hope Keetile, has asked for the public’s assistance in returning her home safely.

Tshepang was last seen by her aunt, whom she has been staying with, on Friday, July 29 when she left for school.

She is a Grade 10 pupil at William Pescod High School.

Tshepang was reported missing at the Galeshewe police station after she did not return home.

Her aunt, Elisabeth Tlhatlhankata, said that Tshepang was placed in her care due to various reasons.

According to Tlhatlhankata, the family found out that her niece has not been going to school for months.

She questioned where her niece has been going every morning.

“Since she started staying with me, we have been leaving the house together in the morning when I go to work and she goes to school. She always left dressed in her school uniform and we never suspected anything,” said the concerned aunt.

“We realised after she went missing that she might have been planning this disappearance for some time. Her clothes are not here, but she never left the house with a bag of clothing.

“She left her phone behind and deleted all her contacts and social media accounts on it. This is a sign to us that she does not want any communication from us.

The aunt said they were concerned about Tshepang’s safety and called on the community to assist the family in locating the teen.
