Eighteen wanted suspects arrested

Eighteen wanted suspects who have been on the run from the police for various crimes in Galeshewe have been arrested.

EIGHTEEN wanted suspects who have been on the run from the police for various crimes including theft, robbery with a firearm, housebreaking and theft, assault GBH, tampering and damaging essential infrastructure and contravention of protection order were arrested on June 8.

Sergeant Timothy Sam said the suspects were evading their court appearance dates while others violated court orders.

“The suspects were apprehended and arrested at their respective homes in and around Galeshewe. They are expected to appear in the Galeshewe Magistrate’s Court on Friday, June 10.”

The Galeshewe station commander Brigadier Belinda Rikhotso commended the members and Galeshewe Detectives led by Lieutenant Colonel Shadrack Moholoan for bringing the wanted suspects to book.
