EFF MEMBERS handed over 70 pairs of school shoes to city pupils in need as part of the party’s ongoing “Back to School Campaign”.
EFF councillor Pontsho Mocwana said they had adopted a local school and had returned last week after making a commitment in January to re-visit the pupils.
“The party code of conduct mandates all EFF public representatives to adopt a school or early childhood development centre in an informal settlement. We honoured this mandate by donating 70 new pairs of school shoes to those in need,” said Mocwana.
