Northern Cape police spokesperson Sergeant Omphile Masegela said on Monday that a 33-year-old Nigerian national was arrested and was expected to appear in court soon.
“The police visited a house and searched the premises, where they discovered tik and mandrax tablets with an estimated street value of R12,400. They also found cash, which is believed to be the proceeds from the sale of drugs,” said Masegela.
“The police will continue to remove those who are distributing drugs to the community,” he added.
