THE NORTHERN Cape Department of Health has requested the public’s assistance in locating the family of Andrick Eric Anti, a patient at Robert Mangaliso Sobukwe Hospital in Kimberley.

Anti, who is currently being treated at the hospital, was admitted on Thursday, August 26, 2021.

Department of Health spokesperson Lulu Mxekezo said the patient was referred to the Social Work unit after no family details were provided at admission.

“Upon interviewing the patient, the health professional established that he is confused and cannot remember much about his life and details.

“Sometimes he tells them that he is staying in Soul Street in De Beers and sometimes he says that he is from Randfontein. He said he has a wife, Patricia, with two children and a sister, Susan. The contact number he provided for the wife does not exist. He is very fluent in Afrikaans,” said Mxekezo.

“Assistance will be highly appreciated in identifying the family of this patient.”

Anyone who can identify the patient is urged to contact the Social Work unit at Robert Mangaliso Sobukwe Hospital on 053 802 2203 or to visit the unit at the hospital.
