A 35-YEAR-old man was arrested yesterday after he allegedly raped his four-year-old son.
Police spokesperson Lieutenant-Colonel Dimakatso Mooi said the man was arrested after the child apparently told personnel at his daycare about the alleged incident.
“It is alleged that the incident happened on March 14, 2020 when the victim visited his father. The matter was reported to the police on March 16, 2020 after the child informed the daycare personnel about the alleged incident. The suspect is currently in custody and is expected to appear in the Galeshewe Magistrate’s Court soon on a charge of rape,” said Mooi.
“The police investigation continues.”
