DA LEADER Mmusi Maimane will today embark on visits to four provinces, including the Northern Cape, to announce the party’s provincial premier candidates ahead of the 2019 national elections.

Maimane will be in KwaZulu-Natal today before travelling to Kimberley for the Northern Cape’s DA premier candidate tomorrow. The announcement is scheduled to take place at Batsumi Guesthouse in Galeshewe at 10am.

Maimane will then move on to Limpopo for this province’s announcement on Saturday. On Sunday he will make the DA’s Western Cape premier candidate announcement.

The DA started focusing its attention on winning the Northern Cape in next year’s general election earlier this year.

During the DA’s 2018 Congress, Maimane indicated the party’s campaign for next year’s general election would be focussed on winning the Gauteng and the Northern Cape provinces.

During the conference, Maimane’s message was “we can and we will win this province (Northern Cape) next year”.
