Cops seek NC pastor to help with probe

Woman alleges that the pastor took advantage of her after he had prayed for her and she became disoriented.

THE POSTMASBURG Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit is searching for Pastor Thulisani Nyathi from the Heaven’s Ministry Church from Newton Hall in Postmasburg.

Postmasburg police communications officer, Warrant Officer Nomvuyo Makoloi said on Wednesday that Nyathi would be able to assist them in an investigation after a 37-year-old woman alleged that he had taken advantage of her after he had prayed for her and she became disoriented.

“The incident happened on February 13 between 4-5pm. The police are investigating what happened after the woman became disorientated.”

Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Nyathi is requested to contact Detective Constable Besson on 079 872 0458 or Warrant Officer Bob on 082 454 3643.

“The investigation continues.”
