All four suspects still have to appear in court.

Northern Cape police spokesperson Lieutenant-Colonel Sergio Kock said that in the first incident, the police in Marydale arrested a man who was found in possession of an illegal hunting rifle and ammunition.

Kock said the police followed up on information and “pounced on the unsuspecting suspect” on August 11 at about 11pm.
