The inside of the the Old Style Fish & Chips shop in George Street was gutted by a fire on Saturday night.
THE SOL Plaatje Fire Department was called out to the Old Style Fish & Chips shop in George Street, next to the KFC, on Saturday night.
The department was alerted after smoke was seen coming out of the shop.
Firefighters managed to extinguish the blaze, but the inside of the shop had been gutted by the fire.
It is not clear how the fire started.
