THE KIMBERLEY police are searching for a missing man, Ronnie Dirk Moabi, 52, from Jacobsdal who was last seen at Lenmed Royal Hospital and Heart Centre on January 6.

Kimberley police spokesperson Captain Tessa Jansen said on Tuesday that Moabi was admitted to the hospital in Kimberley and “stepped out to smoke” at about 2.30pm while his family waited for him, but he never came back.

“He has a medical condition that requires him to take medication. His mother tongue is Sotho, he is tall, slender with short black hair and his chin is shaved and he speaks slowly,” said Jansen.

Anyone with information regarding Moabi’s whereabouts is requested to contact the investigating officer, Sergeant Mothibi, on 063 281 0629.
