SAPS members, along with the local Community Policing Forum, took action to clear overgrown bushes along the N14 road to improve safety for motorists and pedestrians.
WRENCHVILLE SAPS members, along with the local Community Policing Forum (CPF), took action to clear overgrown bushes along the N14 road on January 27.
The operation was led by Sergeant Goitebetswe Ditsela, the Social Crime Co-ordinator for the Wrenchville SAPS.
According to Northern Cape police spokesperson, Captain Nomvuyo Makoloi, the initiative aimed to improve safety for motorists and pedestrians.
Sergeant Ditsela explained that the SAPS prioritises community safety, and the overgrown bushes posed a risk by obstructing motorists’ views and creating unsafe pathways for pedestrians walking through the area.
The clean-up effort reflects the commitment of SAPS officers and community members to ensure a safer environment for all road users. Their dedication highlights the importance of collaboration in addressing local safety concerns.
