THE BODY of a young man from Roodepan was found in the veld by members of the community in Ivory Park yesterday morning.
The deceased was identified by his family as Camaron Goodman, 25.
Goodman had been staying with his guardian, his mother’s sister, since the death of his mother.
His aunt, Sandra Mokgoro, said they last saw Goodman on Wednesday afternoon when he was having a meal and took his medication.
Mokgoro said they learned of Goodman’s death while they were in a taxi on their return from town.
She said they were looking for Goodman before they left for town as he had a doctor’s appointment.
“When we enquired from the neighbours where Goodman was, they said he probably went to Johannesburg.
“They were not taking me seriously, although I was concerned that he had not taken his medication yet. But I decided to leave for town anyway, with the expectation that I would find him at home once I have returned,” Mokgoro said.
